It seems that politicians have finally been ‘pushed aside’, and today teenagers have been at the forefront of the debate on climate change - at least on the surface.

Greta Thunberg’s Rival

Greta Thunberg climate strike sign

Greta Thunberg is a Swedish primary school student (In the Swedish school system age 7 to 16. See reply down the post) who led the fight against global warming, gained world fame; She mobilizes young people to the streets of the world. However, not everyone agrees with the 16-year-old.

Greta Thunberg is made by politics and the media a ‘climate saint’. Whoever has a different opinion will hide. But not all young people fall for propaganda, the German MM News site reports. In Germany, an 18-year-old girl is named ‘counter-Greta’ who shared the results of her own research in a ten-minute video, revealing "what's behind the climate ‘discussion’.

Naomi Seibt

Naomi Seibt, a German gymnast who is surprisingly mature compared to her age, explains the factors and interests behind the climate change lobby, the role the United Nations, and how politicians want to take control of all areas of citizens lives. The video started to spread right away, but after 75,000 views, YouTube temporarily deleted it.

In a video interview, she says she started to deal with politics in 2015 in the wake of the migration crisis. She does not think it is easy to take a stand in Germany, but she encourages other young people to take the risk. She said “climate change is the new religion, which is very dangerous.”

Naomi Seibt adds, she understands and empathizes with those who are afraid, and that this affects them in their decisions, such as not wanting to vote for a party that does not want to deal with climate change.

Before the EU elections, Naomi Seibt campaigned on ‘Climate Change’ and ‘Climate Panic’. There are several young influenza (opinion-forming) advocates on the skeptical side, and even those who respond to videos of climate fighters.
One example is German Jason HD, who refutes the point-by-point argument of the German producer Razon, which has exploded in German social media.

Young people, by the way, complain that politicians have their voice down and say they do not understand these issues. As activists on both sides, either directly or politically, take a stand, the question arises whether an organization or a political party is in the background. However, this is only dealt with by blogs, and mainstream media mostly avoids the issue.

Greta asks leaders of nations to get behind the science and start to take action to clean up the environmental messes we have made and are still engaged in making. Naomi is 18 and asking us to listen to her limited life experience with philosophy and views about politics. I want to listen to what the scientists have to say and have that message be put to action. Naomi’s 18 year old points of view are irrelevant and reflective of her young and totally unexposed and limited perspective. Greta please. Naomi take a seat and just listen and learn. Your point of view does not matter to the world. We don’t care.

Hooray for Naomi Seibt! At last, some common sense. I live in Australia & there needs to be an end to the hysterical, emotional Climate Change lobby. There have been bushfires in Australia for hundreds of millions of years. Ever since the planet was formed it has gone through cycles of heating & cooling. Look at all of the other planets in the solar system. They are also continually going through climate change. Who are you going to blame for that?

Australia has had tragic bushfires over Summer and the drought which we experienced didn't help...................BUT why wasn't Australia's official hottest temperature mentioned in all the "without precedence" headlines ? The hottest temperature was recorded by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology Sixty [60] years ago i.e. TWO. of the I.P.C.C.'s 30 year time segments which are supposed to indicate accurately increases in Global Warming,......at a South Australian town called Andamooka. It was 50.7 degrees celsius. The N.A.S.A. graphs of atmospheric carbon dioxide show emissions at around 310 p.p.m. 60 years ago. Today the N.A.SA. graphs indicate about 412 p.p.m, an increase of say 24% But Australia's maximum temperature increase is zero.

I note that Naomi was a keynote speaker for the Heartland Institute, an organisation sponsored by Koch oil billionaires and a large tobacco corporation amongst others. The public debunking of real science began when the tobacco industry saw the threat to its industry when the link between its products and lung cancer were scientifically proven. I would suggest checking who sponsors these sites and organisations before drawing conclusions.
