Solar-Powered iPhone Tesla Unveiled
The Tesla appears to comprise a blue solar panel on the rear of the device with gold-colored edges and a gold plate with the words "Tesla Limited Edition" and a number next to the camera. The company says the device has been called the Tesla in honor of the "great innovative developments" of Elon Musk, the chief executive of electric car company Tesla.
The company says that Tesla will be limited to 999 numbered devices, and number 1 will be given to Elon Musk. It will bear the words "Made on Earth by humans," a reference to the markings on Musk's Tesla Roadster, which was sent into space earlier this year attached to a rocket launched by Space X, another of Musk's companies.
The Caviar iPhone X Tesla is available in two models, 64 GB and 256 GB. It is presented in a ‘luxury wooden lacquered case’ with a black velvet interior.
