#Vegan recipe: pâté with walnuts & mushrooms
Food Food Vegan

Recipe: Vegetarian pâté of walnuts & mushrooms

A jar with #vegan pâté from walnuts and mushrooms on a white table cloth

The idea of this recipe came because I wanted to make a vegan pâté for the Vietnamese Banh Mi recipe. This pâté can of course also be done on a sandwich or sandwich and is very  tasteful. Nice veggie sandwich! Vegetarian sandwich spread.

In the beginning when I was looking for a vega sandwich, I found it difficult. And to be honest, I am not really a fan of the ready-made pâté that can be bought in the store. These are also often made of mushrooms, so that is a wonderful basis.

This recipe is not only vegetarian, but also vegan.

Mushrooms & Nuts

You can use mushrooms to taste, but I would use mushroom or chestnut mushrooms. Or a mix of them, also very tasty! For the nuts I use walnuts, together with sunflower seeds. Pine nuts are also very tasty for there. Do not forget to add the soy sauce, this gives just that extra bit of flavor to the pâté You can keep the pâté in the refrigerator in a closed container for about 5 days. Look, smell and always taste good
